Updates stay in WordPress
Once LocaleReady is installed, new versions show up in wp-admin like any other plugin.
LocaleReady is a WordPress plugin. After you install it, updates arrive where you already look: the Plugins screen in wp-admin. You do not hunt a zip on this site every time we ship a release.
What an update is
A new version is the same plugin you already run, automatic translation, saved strings, the language switcher, with fixes and improvements. WordPress offers it the usual way. You review it, update it, and the site keeps serving the languages you already have.
What does not change
Translations already stored on the site stay on the site. Updating the plugin does not send your pages back through DeepL or Google. Visitors keep seeing what you already translated.
If you stop paying
Pages you already translated keep working. You would only stop getting new automatic translations and new plugin versions. That is the difference between owning the result and renting it.
