FAQ
Common questions about LocaleReady licenses, install, and this site.
Where is my license key?
On the account page if the key was issued after we started storing an encrypted copy. Otherwise, check your receipt email.
The magic link expired
Request another from the account page. Links last 15 minutes.
I paid but the plugin is not in my email
Sign in on the account page first. The zip is a download there, not an email attachment. The email is the key.
Can I use one key on two WordPress sites?
On the 1-site plan, no. The 3-site and 10-site yearly plans share one key across that many activations. Above ten sites, contact us.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you ask within 14 days of the Stripe charge. The full rule is on the refund policy.
I rotated the key and the site broke
The old key is dead. Put the new key into the plugin and activate again. Validation cache on the site may take up to a day to notice; activating with the new key is the fast path.
Does LocaleReady charge extra for translation?
No. Connect your own DeepL or Google Cloud Translation key through WordPress’s Connectors screen, and that provider bills you directly for what it translates. The LocaleReady license fee pays for the plugin and its updates, not a per-character markup.
How do I get a DeepL or Google key?
Step-by-step for both providers is on Get a translation API key. You only need one. Paste it under Settings → Connectors, then confirm it on LocaleReady’s Translation tab.
Is this site WordPress?
No. localeready.com is a static Astro site. The product you install is the WordPress plugin.
Where do I report a plugin bug?
Use whatever channel we publish for the plugin repo. Licensing and checkout issues (key not issued, download failing) are CloudCatch, the API at api.cloudcatch.io.
